📋 Description

• Lead the Integrations & API team to build a scalable, well-documented API platform that powers customer integrations and enables agentic workflows, directly impacting the scalability and adoption of the NodeZero platform.
• Drive technical strategy for API and integrations platforms, partnering with product to evaluate market needs, define long-term vision, and execute short-term initiatives that align with customer use cases and security workflows.
• Manage and mentor a team of 6+ cross-functional software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence in a remote-first, high-growth cybersecurity environment.
• Champion security, usability, and scalability in all platform decisions, leveraging deep backend/platform expertise to ensure reliable, multi-tenant SaaS performance across cloud environments.
• Contribute to a mission-driven team of former Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers, and security practitioners focused on eliminating alert fatigue, blind spots, and inefficient security tooling through autonomous penetration testing.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading teams of 6+ cross-functional software engineers in a technical capacity.
• Proven experience leading backend or platform engineering teams, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud-scale environments.
• Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python strongly preferred; also open to Go, Java, C++).
• Strong background in API platforms, headless systems, or agent-based customer flows, with hands-on experience in integration development.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
