📋 Description
- • Lead and grow the Application & Product Security squad at Monarch Money, a top-recommended personal finance platform, where security is a competitive differentiator and core to member trust.
- • Define team charter, KPIs, and roadmap; drive vulnerability management end-to-end; lead offensive security programs including penetration testing, bug bounty, and threat detection; embed AI-first automation into the SDLC to replace manual processes.
- • Join a fully remote, mission-driven team of do-ers led by experienced entrepreneurs, collaborating synchronously 9 AM–2 PM PT and embracing asynchronous work across time zones.
- • Develop leadership and technical expertise in product, application, and AI security; build structure, drive measurable outcomes, and stay hands-on while coaching a high-performing security team in a high-growth fintech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in security engineering with at least 3 years leading security teams
- • Hands-on experience building scalable Product Security programs
- • Deep expertise in application security, secure SDLC, and vulnerability management
- • Experience owning offensive security programs (pentesting, bug bounty, or IR)
- • Demonstrated ability to build structure, define KPIs, and drive teams toward measurable outcomes
- • Transformative AI fluency — actively using and driving AI-first approaches in work
