This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that demands a unique blend of deep bioinformatics expertise and hands-on field support. You will guide researchers and clinicians through the entire lifecycle of NGS workflows, from the initial stages of experimental design and data analysis to the critical phases of workflow optimization and advanced cloud-based tertiary analytics.
• • You will operate as a key member of our high-performing Customer Support organization, serving as a trusted scientific advisor. Your responsibilities will include providing advanced technical guidance, delivering comprehensive training, and adeptly troubleshooting complex issues. A significant aspect of your role will involve cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Service, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D teams. This collaboration is crucial for accelerating the adoption of Illumina's technologies, shaping future product improvements based on real-world customer feedback, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
• • A core part of your mission will be to deliver high-quality, impactful training, both on-site and remotely. You will also play a vital role in supporting customer onboarding processes and assisting with the configuration of cloud-based tertiary analysis platforms and sophisticated high-performance secondary analysis tools.
