- • Serve as a Senior Finance Analyst within the Strategic Finance team, providing financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making across Deputy’s global operations.
- • Partner with cross-functional leaders to model financial scenarios, forecast revenue and expenses, and evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, including product development, market expansion, and AI-driven operational changes.
- • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models that integrate operational metrics with financial outcomes, enabling data-driven planning for a SaaS workforce management platform serving 1.5 million workers and 375,000 workplaces.
- • Analyze key performance indicators related to customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value to inform pricing strategy, sales efficiency, and resource allocation across Deputy’s international markets.
- • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess the financial viability and ROI of AI-native initiatives, ensuring responsible and creative use of AI tools aligns with financial goals and risk parameters.
- • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities tied to Deputy’s global growth trajectory.
- • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by gathering input from regional teams in Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco, and London, as well as remote teams across the United States.
- • Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising employee experience or operational compliance in frontline workforce management.
- • Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate tracking of compliance-related costs tied to labor regulations in 100+ countries.
- • Leverage AI tools to automate routine financial reporting tasks, enhance forecasting accuracy, and uncover hidden patterns in financial and operational data.
- • Act as a financial advisor to non-finance stakeholders, translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights for teams managing hourly workers across diverse industries including healthcare, retail, hospitality, and logistics.
- • Contribute to investor reporting materials and due diligence processes as Deputy continues its growth as a recently achieved Unicorn company backed by top global investors.
- • Maintain rigorous data integrity standards across financial systems while adapting to evolving global accounting practices and SaaS metrics.
- • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, advocating for tools and methodologies that increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability in a high-growth environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, strategic finance, or corporate finance within a SaaS or technology company
- • Proven ability to build and manage complex financial models integrating operational and financial data
- • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial reporting software, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- • Experience working in a global, multi-region organization with exposure to international financial regulations
- • Demonstrated use of AI tools in financial analysis or automation workflows
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance executives
