- • Serve as the Senior Finance Manager responsible for building and scaling the financial infrastructure of a high-growth AI-powered commercial real estate platform.
- • Own the "Payment to Owners" process with zero-defect precision, ensuring every dollar is accounted for, deposits are verified, and partner payments are executed accurately and on time.
- • Lead the migration of the company’s banking infrastructure to Stripe, managing the transition of all capital flows with seamless execution.
- • Implement and enforce rigorous approval workflows for accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure disciplined cash management and operational efficiency.
- • Manage relationships with lenders, including monitoring and complying with debt covenants and optimizing treasury strategies to support capital structure maturation.
- • Prepare and present board-level financial reports that translate raw data into strategic insights, enabling leadership and investors to make bold, data-driven decisions.
- • Oversee the team responsible for client billing and financial reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and transparent communication with real estate partners.
- • Collaborate directly with Engineering to embed financial automation into the product, shaping product requirements that streamline financial workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- • Manage, mentor, and grow the Billing and Reporting teams, acting as a player-coach who sets high standards and fosters a culture of accountability and excellence.
- • Audit financial processes using AI tools to validate data integrity, detect anomalies, and accelerate month-end close and reconciliation cycles.
- • Take ownership of the company’s unit economics, serving as the primary voice of financial truth in strategic discussions and boardroom decisions.
- • Replace legacy, founder-led manual processes with scalable systems designed to support 10x growth, eliminating inefficiencies and building automated financial infrastructure.
- • Maintain absolute accuracy in financial records, treating even minor discrepancies as breaches of trust that require immediate correction and systemic improvement.
- • Work closely with the COO and Founders to align financial strategy with company growth objectives, with direct influence on company-wide decisions.
- • Ensure financial operations reflect the company’s values of boldness, empathy, accountability, self-starter mentality, and team-first collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing financial operations at a high-growth startup or scale-up, particularly in treasury, cash flow, and payment systems
- • Demonstrated ability to lead the migration of legacy banking and payment infrastructure to modern platforms like Stripe
- • Experience managing lender relationships, debt covenants, and capital structure maturation
- • Strong leadership experience managing billing, reporting, or finance operations teams
- • Deep proficiency in using AI or automation tools to audit, verify, and accelerate financial workflows
- • Obsessive attention to detail and zero-tolerance for errors in financial reporting and partner payments
