📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end design and delivery of multi-million-dollar financial solutions that help life-science and diagnostic laboratories acquire Agilent’s cutting-edge instrumentation, software, consumables, and service contracts without large upfront capital outlays. You will structure leases, subscription programs, and tailored financing packages ranging from $20K to $10M, ensuring every customer can access the technology they need to accelerate breakthroughs in patient care, food safety, and environmental monitoring.
• • Act as the primary finance strategist for Agilent’s Central & Eastern USA and Canada sales regions. Partner daily with account managers, market-representatives, product specialists, and district managers to identify customer budget constraints early, craft compelling payment alternatives, and shorten sales cycles. Your consultative approach will turn stalled capital-expense conversations into approved, recurring-revenue agreements that grow both customer satisfaction and Agilent’s top line.
• • Generate new pipeline by evangelizing Agilent Financial Solutions (AFS) at trade shows, user-group meetings, and targeted webinars. Deliver crisp value-proposition presentations that translate complex accounting and tax implications into clear business benefits for CFOs, lab directors, and procurement teams. Maintain an active funnel of direct customer engagements while simultaneously coaching field reps to spot financing opportunities during routine sales calls.
• • Design and execute quarterly training curricula that upskill more than 200 sales professionals on the latest leasing structures, IFRS-16 impacts, and subscription pricing models. Create easy-to-use playbooks, ROI calculators, and competitive objection-handling guides that enable reps to confidently introduce financing early in the sales process, increasing attachment rates and average deal size.
• • Cultivate deep relationships with external financing partners, credit underwriters, and legal teams to expedite approvals and customize terms for unique customer situations—whether it’s a start-up biotech conserving cash runway or a municipal water lab navigating strict municipal leasing regulations. Your project-management discipline ensures documentation, risk assessments, and compliance reviews move seamlessly from quote to cash.
• • Leverage CRM data and financial software such as T-Value to model cash-flow impacts, breakeven analyses, and total-cost-of-ownership scenarios that resonate with diverse stakeholders. Translate technical specifications and service contract details into transparent monthly payment schedules, residual-value guarantees, and end-of-term upgrade paths that eliminate customer surprises.
• • Provide thought leadership back to Agilent’s global AFS program office by capturing regional market feedback, competitive financing trends, and regulatory changes. Participate in cross-functional task forces to refine product bundles, pricing frameworks, and digital contracting tools that keep Agilent ahead of customer expectations and emerging fintech capabilities.
• • Uphold Agilent’s uncompromising integrity standards by ensuring every proposal meets anti-bribery, export-control, and environmental-compliance policies. Serve as a trusted advisor who balances aggressive revenue goals with responsible lending practices, protecting both customer interests and Agilent’s brand reputation.
• • Travel up to 25% across the Central & Eastern US and Canada to conduct on-site discovery workshops, executive briefings, and contract signings. When not on the road, maintain high responsiveness during standard business hours for both Eastern and Central time zones, using video conferencing and digital-signature platforms to keep momentum with remote customers and internal teams.
