📋 Description

• Develop tools and capabilities that extend Anduril's Lattice OS to solve unique customer problems in command and control of complex assets, missile defense mission planning and execution, networking, and remote asset management in far-edge environments.
• Collaborate closely with customers, product designers, and other engineering teams to shape and build new software products and applications, optimizing for maximum value to the end user.
• Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission-critical code in a tight feedback loop with end users.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to participate in customer events and deploy capabilities in real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to the development of existing software services across Anduril, aiming to develop reusable components that contribute to success across multiple Anduril product lines.
• Work on fast-paced teams alongside real operators to ensure seamless integration of Anduril products for critical outcomes.
• Empathize with end-users to translate operational needs into technical features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints.
• Navigate complex systems and established code bases to deliver scalable, pragmatic, and high-quality software solutions.
• Uphold a "Whatever It Takes" mindset by executing tasks expediently and prioritizing mission impact over convenience.
• Engage directly with customers during deployment phases to gather feedback and refine software functionality in fielded environments.
• Design and implement real-time user interfaces using React and TypeScript for mission-critical defense systems.
• Ensure software reliability and performance under demanding operational conditions in defense and national security contexts.
• Work in cross-functional teams including Perception, AI, Motion Planning, Hardware, Test Engineering, Space, Networking, and Vehicle hardware to deliver end-to-end systems.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of Lattice OS as a foundational AI-powered operating system for military command and control.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• Proficiency with web-based technologies, specifically React and TypeScript
• Ability to empathize with end-users, turn needs into features, and balance user experience with engineering constraints
• Experience with real-time user interfaces that use reactive programming libraries — ReactJS or similar
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
