- • Own the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing features across our React web and React-Native mobile applications, turning complex finance and accounting workflows into intuitive, delightful experiences for construction professionals.
- • Collaborate daily with our tight-knit product, design, and customer-success teams to define, prototype, and ship new functionality that eliminates manual payment tasks for midsize and large construction companies.
- • Architect scalable, maintainable front-end code in React and React-Native while simultaneously diving into our serverless GCP backend (Node.js/TypeScript) to ensure seamless data flow and lightning-fast performance.
- • Work side-by-side with finance leaders in the field, gathering direct feedback and iterating quickly to refine features that handle high-volume transaction data and complex accounting rules.
- • Invent best-in-industry tools that set new standards for fintech UX in construction, leveraging your deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns.
- • Champion code quality through rigorous testing, continuous integration, and thoughtful code reviews, raising the technical bar for the entire engineering organization.
- • Optimize application performance across web and mobile platforms, ensuring our tools remain responsive even as data volumes scale with customer growth.
- • Drive technical decisions that balance speed of delivery with long-term maintainability, documenting patterns and mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- • Participate in weekly in-person collaboration sessions at our Seattle office, where whiteboard brainstorming turns into actionable sprint plans over team lunch.
- • Contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture—autonomous, customer-obsessed, and always iterating—helping define best practices that will scale as Finvari grows.
- • Stay at the forefront of fintech and construction-tech trends, evaluating new technologies and methodologies that can give our customers a competitive edge.
- • Take pride in seeing your code directly impact how quickly hospitals, schools, and infrastructure get built by removing friction from the payment process.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrable expertise in React and/or React-Native
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience building scalable web or mobile applications in a production environment
- • Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and a statically typed language such as TypeScript or Java
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- • Ability to commute to our Seattle office at least once per week for in-person collaboration
- • Authorization to work lawfully in the United States without visa sponsorship (H1-B not available)
