- • Manage inbound and outbound shipments to and from India, including documentation, carrier coordination, and exception handling for diamond and gemstone logistics.
- • Coordinate with suppliers across Mumbai and Surat for timely drop-offs and collections of high-value inventory.
- • Own end-to-end fulfillment for Nivoda Express, overseeing the full order lifecycle from quality control to final dispatch and returns.
- • Take complete ownership of Nivoda’s physical stock of diamonds and gemstones, conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and security.
- • Handle returns, damaged goods, and shipment exceptions with precision, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal protocols.
- • Generate monthly and quarterly operational reports detailing shipment volumes, collection performance, and carrier KPIs using structured data analysis.
- • Create, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the fulfillment function to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence.
- • Contribute to Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) by identifying operational gaps and leading process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- • Ensure all fulfillment activities align with Nivoda’s standards for accuracy, security, and efficiency in handling high-value gemstone inventory.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process enhancements that elevate fulfillment performance and reduce operational risk.
- • Maintain professional discretion and integrity when managing sensitive, high-value assets throughout the supply chain.
- • Prioritize high-value shipments and tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exacting standards for detail and timing.
- • Utilize Excel extensively for data analysis, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions to support reporting and decision-making.
- • Support continuous improvement through the use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) for reporting, documentation, and workflow optimization where applicable.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to generate clear, structured reports
- • Excellent command of Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritising high-value shipments and tasks with precision
- • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every item is handled with care and exacting standards
