📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end delivery of AI-driven features that turn millions of hours of video into real-time, actionable insights for 30,000+ customer locations worldwide. You will move from whiteboard sketches to production-grade microservices, ensuring every line of code scales to petabyte-level data and sub-second latency.
• • Partner daily with product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and fellow engineers to translate complex business problems—like shrink reduction, queue-time optimization, and safety compliance—into elegant, customer-centric software solutions.
• • Architect and evolve a cloud-native stack that spans React dashboards, Node.js/TypeScript APIs, Python computer-vision pipelines, and event-driven Lambda workflows on AWS. You will champion domain-driven design, clean code, and incremental re-architecture to keep technical debt under control while shipping at startup speed.
• • Build and maintain bullet-proof observability: distributed tracing, real-time alerting, and self-healing systems that surface anomalies before customers notice them. You’ll define SLIs/SLOs, tune auto-scaling policies, and run blameless post-mortems that turn incidents into shared learning.
• • Lead the creation of reusable libraries, shared services, and design patterns that accelerate every squad at Solink. Whether it’s a multi-tenant job scheduler or a pluggable video-ingestion SDK, your work will become the foundation others build upon.
• • Drive test strategy in lock-step with QA—unit, contract, integration, and end-to-end tests running in parallelized CI pipelines. You’ll raise code-coverage, champion TDD, and ensure every release is a non-event.
• • Triage and resolve high-severity production issues with calm precision, balancing immediate customer impact with long-term fixes. You’ll mentor junior engineers on root-cause analysis and turn fire-drills into systemic improvements.
• • Stay curious about AI/ML—experiment with LLM prompt engineering, fine-tune CV models, or prototype MLOps workflows. Your discoveries will influence the roadmap and keep Solink at the cutting edge of video analytics.
• • Foster a culture of urgency, quality, and trust: give candid feedback, celebrate wins loudly, and raise the bar with every pull request. You’ll help interview, onboard, and grow the next generation of Solink engineers.
