📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js and dynamic front-end interfaces using React, ensuring seamless integration across the full stack.
• Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end services, creator workflows, and brand integrations, optimizing for performance and reliability.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and talent teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with Pearpop’s creator-centric vision.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability using cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) to handle high-volume creator and brand interactions.
• Implement advanced security measures including authentication via Gravitee, encryption, and data protection protocols to safeguard user and creator data.
• Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and enforce best practices to ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to Pearpop’s engineering standards.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across both front-end and back-end systems to ensure optimal platform performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and containerization (Docker) to streamline deployment and improve scalability.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and creator economy platforms, integrating cutting-edge solutions to enhance platform capabilities.
• Take ownership of critical projects from ideation to deployment, driving technical strategy and delivering measurable impact on platform growth and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, marketing, and talent to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and cultural relevance.
• Utilize JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express) to build high-performance back-end services.
• Build dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React with strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Work with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB and ORMs like Sequelize to manage data efficiently.
• Apply version control systems (Git, GitHub) with established branching strategies to manage codebase integrity and collaboration.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable code through adherence to security protocols, performance benchmarks, and architectural best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate alignment and informed decision-making across teams.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that support Pearpop’s growth as a high-performance startup in the creator economy.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in full-stack development, with 5+ years focused on Node.js for back-end and React (or similar frameworks like Vue.js) for front-end in high-growth tech or media companies.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express).
• Strong experience with React for building dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and ORMs like Sequelize.
• Deep knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub) and branching strategies.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker), with proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions).
• Experience implementing authentication systems (e.g., Gravitee, OAuth) and data protection measures to ensure platform security.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks), with the ability to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and drive cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for social media, internet culture, and the creator economy, with a collaborative, innovative, and savvy mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Google Cloud Professional) preferred but not required.
