• You will contribute to an AI-first engineering culture by sharing patterns, documenting best practices, and helping the team evolve how software is built with AI, while maintaining high standards for code quality, test coverage, and system reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development using Java and/or JavaScript with a proven track record of shipping production systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, SQL, service reliability, and debugging production issues.
• Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent) in a production engineering workflow.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for logic errors, security issues, maintainability, and ownership of merged code regardless of origin.
• Strong system design instincts with attention to tradeoffs, edge cases, scalability, and failure modes.
• Clear communication skills to articulate technical decisions, identify spec gaps, and engage in constructive disagreement.
• Interest in Elixir or functional programming languages as the company expands its stack.
