- • As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Firestorm, you will own end-to-end application development across the manufacturing software platform, including API, frontend, data model, background jobs, and integration points, directly impacting how manufacturing operations run on the factory floor.
- • You will design and evolve the core domain model—work orders, engineering changes, effectivity, defect records—and build React interfaces optimized for operator use in industrial environments, ensuring speed, accessibility, and reliability.
- • You will partner with product, design, and manufacturing teams to translate real operational needs into shipped software, while contributing to architectural decisions and raising standards in testing, observability, and operational excellence.
- • Firestorm is building the next generation of uncrewed aircraft and advanced manufacturing systems, with the Software Integration & Operations department owning the software layer from factory floor to cloud, enabling rapid iteration, automation, and scalable production with uncompromising quality.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deeply engage with complex industrial domains—such as work orders, engineering change orders, and defect disposition—while shipping features used daily by technicians, supervisors, engineers, and quality teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations
- • 5+ years of full-stack engineering with production systems at non-trivial scale
- • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js-based backends
- • Deep experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred) and ORMs (Prisma preferred), including understanding of indexing, migrations, and transactional consistency
