📋 Description
- • As a Senior Full-stack Engineer on the Gravity Core Platform team at Sift Science, you will build foundational infrastructure that powers the company's Digital Trust & Safety platform, enabling other engineering teams to ship faster and more reliably.
- • You will design and evolve scalable distributed systems, deliver cross-cutting engineering solutions, collaborate across teams to maintain shared services and data models, and improve platform engineering practices for secure, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
- • You will join Gravity, Sift's Core Platform team, which serves as the shared foundation for all product teams by providing reusable components, abstractions, and infrastructure focused on internal customer success and platform longevity.
- • You will gain experience handling petabytes of data and high fault tolerance systems, participate in bi-annual hackathons and tech talks, and benefit from tri-annual Growth Cycles focused on professional development rather than traditional performance reviews.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience building distributed backend systems using Java
- • 3+ years experience designing/delivering highly-available services
- • 2+ years of experience building React-based frontend applications, preferably in platform areas
- • Experience with data pipelines
- • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- • Strong communication & collaboration skills with a team-first, product-first mindset
