• • Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and user-friendly features across our entire technology stack. This includes both the backend services, primarily built with Java and Node.js, and the modern React frontend, enhanced with TypeScript. You will be instrumental in ensuring these systems integrate seamlessly and contribute to the platform's overall scalability and performance.
• • You will be a key contributor to evolving our architecture, working with new microservices and modernizing existing systems. This involves a deep understanding of system design, data modeling, and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs that ensure long-term maintainability and coherence.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging AI-augmented engineering. You are expected to integrate AI tools into your daily workflow to accelerate development cycles and explore innovative solutions more rapidly. However, this must be balanced with strong engineering judgment, critically reviewing, challenging, and hardening any AI-generated code to ensure it meets our high standards for production readiness.
• • You will be expected to demonstrate a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, prioritizing sound architectural principles, efficient data modeling, and strategic decision-making over strict adherence to specific frameworks. Languages and frameworks are viewed as tools to achieve desired outcomes, not as defining aspects of one's identity.
• • The role requires multi-stack pragmatism, as you will be working within a diverse production environment that includes Java, Node.js, React, and some legacy PHP systems. Your ability to thoughtfully improve existing systems while contributing to the evolution of the overall architecture will be crucial.
