📋 Description

• Senior Full Stack Engineer role focused on building and scaling Forter’s Customer Experience Offerings (CXO) team, delivering core offerings and agentic experiences that empower customers to understand, configure, and optimize their journey with confidence.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include driving end-to-end technical strategy for customer portal and internal tools, defining technical standards for user configuration and data visualization, leading development of Agentic AI capabilities using LLMs, owning data foundations (pipelines, quality, access patterns), unifying user journey between configuration and results analysis, and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to turn ambiguous problems into executable plans.
• Part of the Customer Experience group within Forter, a high-impact team building smart automation and AI-driven capabilities for digital commerce trust solutions, working across the full stack (React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript) with data pipelines and platform development.
• Opportunity to shape AI-driven capabilities as Forter invests heavily in Agentic AI, lead complex technical initiatives, influence product decisions, drive architecture across teams, and gain deep expertise in scalable data stores, event-driven systems, and high-throughput infrastructure while working with global brands like Adobe, ASOS, eBay, and Instacart.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with deep expertise in full-stack development, including strong command of React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Experience building customer-facing products and working closely with product managers and customer-facing stakeholders
• Strong familiarity with cloud-native environments, with AWS experience as a significant advantage
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, data-intensive architectures, and event-driven pipelines using technologies like Redis, Kafka, SQS, Elasticsearch, MySQL, and Snowflake
• Demonstrated impact in senior engineering roles, including leading complex technical initiatives, influencing product decisions, and driving architecture across teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to discuss architecture with engineers, roadmap with product managers, and explain tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
