📋 Description

• As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at GetGround Limited, you will play a pivotal role in redefining property investment through AI-native technology, directly contributing to the mission of making real estate ownership safer, faster, and more accessible for landlords globally. Your work will help disrupt a £1.7 trillion UK asset class by building end-to-end user-facing products that integrate AI as a core component of both the user experience and the engineering process.
• You will work within a high-performing, cross-functional product team in London, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering peers to transform customer needs into scalable, production-ready features. This role offers significant ownership and autonomy in a fast-moving environment where ambiguity is common, and innovation is encouraged through experimentation with AI-augmented workflows and modern full-stack practices.
• GetGround’s engineering culture treats AI as a first-class citizen — not only in the products shipped but in how code is written, systems are reasoned about, and teams scale their capabilities. You’ll be part of a technically excellent team (85+ engineers from Google, Meta, Deliveroo, and startups) that values technical rigour, clear communication, commercial thinking, and continuous learning.
• Day to day, you will: collaborate cross-functionally to understand user needs and take ideas from concept to deployment; enjoy substantial ownership and freedom in navigating a dynamic, fast-paced environment; build and maintain user-facing products across the stack using React, Remix, and TypeScript on the frontend and Golang on the backend, while remaining fluid across both domains; collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers to ship high-quality features rapidly, leveraging AI tools as a co-pilot in discovery and delivery; write clear, maintainable code and thoughtful documentation for both human and AI consumers; help define new engineering practices for an AI-native development environment; and mentor other engineers to strengthen and scale the team’s technical and cultural excellence.
• You will have the opportunity to shape the product roadmap through commercial and technical insight, influence how AI is integrated into software development practices, and grow as a technical leader in a mission-driven PropTech company backed by Series A funding with strong runway. The role offers deep impact — your contributions will directly affect the experience of 30,000+ users across 70 countries and support the management of over £2bn in assets under management.
• Beyond technical growth, you will develop stronger product and commercial acumen, learn to balance innovation with pragmatism in a high-growth startup, and contribute to a culture that values feedback, excellence, and healthy ego. 🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer building user-facing products, with comfort moving between frontend and backend development
• Strong product and commercial thinking, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines to solve user problems
• Familiarity with React, Remix, and TypeScript (preferred but not essential) and/or Golang, along with experience in testing practices (unit, integration, or automated end-to-end)
• A track record of mentoring or supporting other engineers and contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing
• Excitement and curiosity about using AI tools to enhance software development, delivery, and engineering efficiency
