📋 Description

• • Design and implement AI agents and multi-step reasoning systems that power user-facing mental health features using LLMs, tool-calling, retrieval pipelines, and hybrid RAG architectures.
• • Build and refine embedding flows, vector databases, and orchestration systems for AI-driven clinical and wellness workflows integrated into the Kyan Health platform.
• • Own end-to-end development of features across frontend (React, Next.js, React Native), backend (Node.js, TypeScript), and cloud infrastructure (GCP/Azure), ensuring seamless cross-platform functionality.
• • Architect robust prompting frameworks, function-calling systems, and guardrails to ensure safe, accurate, and clinically responsible AI interactions.
• • Develop and maintain a shared React/React Native component library and design system with accessibility, performance, and multi-language support as core requirements.
• • Translate product and clinical requirements into scalable, user-centric AI-powered experiences that align with mental health best practices.
• • Work closely with data, product, and clinical teams to integrate analytics from BigQuery and experimentation frameworks into AI feature iteration and evaluation.
• • Set and enforce coding standards for AI-integrated codebases, prioritizing readability, maintainability, and low complexity in production systems.
• • Mentor junior engineers on LLM patterns, model observability, evaluation suites, and failure mode analysis in AI applications.
• • Challenge assumptions around AI implementation, propose pragmatic alternatives, and advocate for responsible, transparent, and ethical use of AI in healthcare contexts.
• • Contribute to the evolution of cloud-hosted applications using event-driven and service-oriented architectures with PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and BigQuery data stores.
• • Ensure all AI systems meet performance, latency, and cost-efficiency targets while maintaining clinical integrity and user trust.
• • Collaborate across time zones to support a global user base across 90+ countries, with multi-market language and cultural context as key design considerations.
• • Participate in the full software lifecycle from ideation and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement of AI features.
• • Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making that shape the foundational AI infrastructure of a rapidly scaling healthtech platform.
• • Maintain strong product awareness by focusing on usability, clarity, and measurable outcomes in every feature delivered.
• • Participate in live coding exercises and technical interviews as part of the hiring process to assess practical implementation skills in AI and full stack systems.
• • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI toolchains including LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI function calling, and custom agent frameworks like LangGraph-style systems.
• • Monitor and optimize model performance, latency, and cost tradeoffs in production AI systems using modern observability and evaluation suites.
