This Senior Full Stack Engineer role is pivotal in enhancing these core revenue-generating systems, directly impacting creator earnings, fan conversion rates, and our overall global revenue growth.
- • **Own Critical Revenue Streams:** This high-impact role is dedicated to developing and refining Fanvue's checkout, payments, and broader fintech functionalities. You will be instrumental in building and taking ownership of end-to-end payment flows. This encompasses everything from crafting intuitive and high-converting frontend checkout experiences to architecting and maintaining resilient backend payment services, subscription management systems, and efficient payout mechanisms. Your work will be the engine driving creator income and platform revenue.
- • **Drive Innovation in User Experience:** You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying innovative end-to-end checkout and payment features across both our web interfaces and backend services. A key focus will be on optimizing frontend checkout flows to maximize fan conversion rates and minimize friction, ensuring a smooth and delightful purchasing journey. This involves deep collaboration with Product and Design teams to ideate, prototype, and implement A/B tests and experiments aimed at continuously improving monetization strategies and conversion funnels.
- • **Build and Maintain Robust Backend Systems:** Beyond the user-facing elements, you will build and maintain the critical backend services that manage the entire lifecycle of transactions. This includes handling complex subscription logic, processing various payment methods, managing messaging payments, and ensuring timely and accurate creator payouts. You will be the guardian of these systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and scalability.
- • **Integrate and Orchestrate Payment Ecosystems:** A significant part of your role will involve integrating with a variety of third-party payment providers. You will need to develop sophisticated logic for handling payment retries, implementing fallback mechanisms, and meticulously managing edge cases to ensure that transactions are processed successfully under all circumstances. This requires a deep understanding of payment gateway operations and error handling.
- • **Champion Reliability and Observability:** You will play a crucial role in ensuring our payment systems are not only functional but also exceptionally reliable, observable, and secure in a production environment. This involves implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues. You will be expected to debug and resolve complex problems across the entire stack, from the user interface down to the intricacies of payment processing logic.

🎯 Requirements
- • Strong full stack engineering experience, with demonstrable depth in backend systems and API development.
- • Proven experience working with modern web technologies, including TypeScript, Node.js, React, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- • Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining systems related to payments, billing, subscriptions, or other fintech applications.
