📋 Description
- • Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Kotlin + React) role at Newxel Tech LLC, a cybersecurity product company building a live platform used by paying customers to improve organizational security processes. This role is critical to scaling the product and delivering new features, including AI-adjacent explorations, in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.
- • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Kotlin for backend services and React for frontend interfaces, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and security best practices across the entire stack.
- • Work with Docker and containerization to streamline deployment pipelines, manage environment consistency, and support DevOps practices that enable reliable and scalable releases.
- • Contribute to architectural decisions as the product evolves, helping shape scalable, maintainable systems that support growth, new feature development, and potential integration of AI-driven security insights.
- • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing, fostering team growth and elevating overall engineering standards in a collaborative, small-team setting.
- • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical security incidents, ensuring system stability, rapid issue resolution, and maintaining trust with customers relying on the platform for protection.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience with proven ability to deliver complex, production-grade applications.
- • Strong expertise in Kotlin backend development, including familiarity with JVM ecosystem, concurrency, and building scalable APIs.
- • Strong expertise in React frontend development, including hooks, state management, performance optimization, and modern UI patterns.
- • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments for development, testing, and deployment workflows.
- • Agile mindset with comfort working across backend and frontend, adapting quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic startup environment.
- • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher for effective communication in a global, remote team.
