📋 Description

• Are you a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with a passion for crafting robust, scalable, and secure software solutions? Ubiminds is partnering with a dynamic U.S.-based software product company to find a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, working remotely and contributing to impactful projects from conception through to deployment.
• In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated full-stack applications. Your primary technical stack will involve Ruby, Ruby on Rails for the backend, and React.js for the frontend. You'll have the autonomy to architect backend services, ensuring clean separation of concerns and a design that is inherently scalable to meet future demands. This involves not just writing code, but also thinking critically about system architecture and how different components interact to deliver a seamless user experience.
• On the frontend, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing user-facing features using React.js. This means translating complex requirements into intuitive and responsive interfaces that delight users. You'll be expected to have a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices for building maintainable and performant UIs. Your work will directly impact the usability and effectiveness of the product.
• This position thrives in an Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environment. You will be an active participant in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies is crucial for effective collaboration and iterative development. You'll be working in a fast-paced setting where continuous improvement and adaptability are key.
• A significant part of your role will involve designing and consuming APIs. You will work with both RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, understanding the nuances of each and choosing the appropriate tool for the job. This requires a solid grasp of data modeling, request/response structures, and efficient data fetching strategies. Ensuring seamless communication between the frontend and backend is paramount.
• You will also play a key role in implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with tools such as Docker for containerization, CircleCI for continuous integration, and GitHub Actions for workflow automation will be essential. Your efforts in this area will ensure that code changes are integrated, tested, and deployed efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing developer productivity.
• Writing comprehensive unit and integration tests is a non-negotiable aspect of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the code you and your team produce. This includes developing thorough test suites that cover various scenarios, edge cases, and potential failure points. Strong debugging skills will be vital in identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Security is a top priority. You will be expected to apply security best practices throughout the development process, with a particular focus on authentication and authorization mechanisms. Understanding common security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them is crucial for protecting user data and the integrity of the application.
• You will gain hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining applications in leading cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. This involves understanding cloud infrastructure, deployment strategies, and performance monitoring tools to ensure the application remains available, performant, and cost-effective.
• Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to plan, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential for success.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
