As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product, taking ownership of significant user-impacting projects from conception through to successful deployment.
• You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing critical features that directly enhance the user experience and drive business value. This involves a deep understanding of our users' needs and challenges, translating them into robust technical solutions. Your contributions will extend beyond individual features; you will actively participate in code and system design reviews, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our platform. • We are seeking engineers who are not only technically proficient but also possess strong judgment, capable of balancing the need for new feature development with the strategic management of technical debt and risk. You should be comfortable leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate your development workflow, staying ahead of the curve in a fast-paced technological environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shipping valuable features and driving high-leverage improvements to infrastructure and processes. This is a full-time position based in our New York City HQ, with a preference for a hybrid work model requiring 4 days in the office, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering.
• Our tech stack is modern and robust, featuring Typescript, React, MUI/Shadcn, and Node.js on the frontend. The backend is powered by Python, Django, Typescript, Node.js, with MySQL and Postgres databases, deployed on AWS and GCP. For data processing, we utilize Python, Dagster, and Snowflake. We also employ tools like Linear for project management, GitHub for version control, Datadog for monitoring, and Cursor/Claude Code for AI-assisted development. Your ability to navigate and contribute across this stack will be essential. 🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building complex applications using modern programming languages such as Python and/or Typescript.
• Proven track record of shaping and successfully shipping valuable features that have had a significant user impact.
• Demonstrated ability to drive high-leverage improvements to infrastructure and internal development processes.
• Strong judgment to effectively manage technical debt and assess technical risk.
• Comfort and proficiency in utilizing modern AI tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
