📋 Description

• • Ship production-grade full-stack software with 5+ years of experience, including time as an early engineer at a seed or Series A startup, owning features end-to-end with strong product judgment.
• • Build and maintain systems across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, using Python/FastAPI for backend services and TypeScript/React for frontend interfaces, delivering complete features in a single pull request.
• • Develop and deploy AI-powered applications focused on voice/audio, LLMs, and data/insights pipelines, with direct experience in production environments handling real-time audio, telephony, or payment systems under latency and reliability constraints.
• • Implement LLM application patterns including prompt engineering, structured output generation, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation frameworks, and manage non-deterministic systems that must remain stable and reliable in enterprise production.
• • Design and operate secure, multi-tenant SaaS platforms on AWS or GCP with deep attention to data isolation, PII handling, and compliance requirements such as SOC 2.
• • Integrate and manage flaky third-party APIs from telephony, real-time audio, or payment providers, ensuring system resilience and graceful degradation under imperfect network and service conditions.
• • Contribute to the foundational engineering of an AI platform designed for frontline enterprise use cases, working directly with enterprise VP of Ops and remote CTOs to deliver high-stakes, high-impact solutions.
• • Participate in on-call rotations on a small team, having previously been the engineer paged during critical incidents, demonstrating ownership and response discipline under pressure.
• • Collaborate with a founding team experienced at Harvard, Princeton, Meta, Insight Partners, and IBM, shipping products with immediate enterprise ROI and closing deals with multi-billion dollar manufacturers, retailers, and logistics companies.
• • Operate in a 0-to-1 environment with high ambiguity, turning confusion into clear direction while maintaining speed and quality under pressure, aligned with company values of ownership, intellectual honesty, and empathy-driven design.
• • Build agentic LLM workflows involving tool use, multi-step reasoning, and eval-driven automation, improving system performance through continuous measurement and iteration.
• • Contribute to data/analytics pipelines using warehouse modeling techniques and DBT for transforming and serving insights from structured and unstructured conversation data.
• • Work with voice agent stacks such as LiveKit, Pipecat, Vapi, Retell, or custom integrations on Twilio, Deepgram, or ElevenLabs, applying speech fundamentals including ASR, TTS, diarization, and VAD to enhance product functionality.
• • Engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions directly address real enterprise problems, rejecting feature bloat in favor of high-impact, mission-critical functionality.
• • Function as a foundational hire with the potential to grow into an engineering leadership role within 12 months, shaping engineering culture, processes, and technical direction alongside the founding team.
