  • As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Community team at Patreon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the real-time interaction spaces that connect creators and their fans. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the core social layer of our platform, impacting features like Patreon Live, Chats, Comments, Reactions, and emerging collaboration tools.
  • You will be instrumental in building and enhancing the experiences that make Patreon a vibrant and engaging destination for fans, fostering a sense of connection, belonging, and shared identity.
  • Your responsibilities will span the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization and technical design to implementation and delivery of well-scoped product feature milestones.
  • You will take ownership of critical components, ensuring they are not only functional but also highly scalable, rigorously tested, and maintainable for long-term success.
  • A key aspect of this role involves deep collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Data Scientists, Designers, and fellow Engineers, to translate product vision into high-quality, impactful features.

  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers will be an integral part of your role, helping to foster a strong, product-minded engineering culture across the team.
