- • Own end-to-end development of a cross-platform ecosystem spanning mobile (React Native), web, BFF, and infrastructure layers, with an AI-first, agentic development approach.
- • Design and evolve scalable foundational systems for health and fitness applications that enable product teams to ship and experiment faster without re-deriving core components.
- • Collaborate directly with product, design, marketing, and data stakeholders to translate business bets into running experiments, not just backlog tickets, ensuring outcomes drive technical decisions.
- • Develop and continuously improve AI-agentic workflows across the entire software development lifecycle to enhance team productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
- • Build and maintain shared platform capabilities including internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted workflows that elevate engineering efficiency and product quality across the organization.
- • Implement and optimize native mobile media experiences, including video playback, streaming, and HLS-based solutions, from native integration to user-perceived quality.
- • Architect modular, reusable systems such as backend-driven UI, white-label capabilities, and component libraries that allow one team’s work to compound for others.
- • Ensure reliable and scalable integrations between frontend clients, BFF services, and platform infrastructure, taking ownership of the health and performance of system seams.
- • Participate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, pairing sessions, and documentation efforts within a trunk-based development workflow.
- • Lead by example in fostering an engineering culture focused on maintainability, reliability, testability, and rapid iteration, prioritizing outcomes over output.
- • Use AI as a lever to compress the feedback loop between idea and learning, applying agentic workflows to automate repetitive tasks and accelerate experimentation.
- • Ship minimal viable versions of features quickly using feature flags, A/B tests, and kill switches, validating success through measurable metrics rather than completion of tasks.
- • Go to the source: engage directly with users, PMs, designers, and marketers to understand real problems before writing code, avoiding reliance on incomplete or idealized specifications.
- • Maintain a bias to ship: prefer delivering functional prototypes or experiments this week over perfect plans delayed by months.
- • Contribute to the evolution of engineering culture through mentorship, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong commercial experience with React Native and modern TypeScript-based application development
- • Solid understanding of full-stack architecture including mobile, web, BFF, and cloud/infrastructure layers
- • Experience building scalable cross-platform systems and shared application foundations
- • Deep understanding of software architecture, modular systems, scalability, and performance optimization
- • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and modern developer workflows
- • Comfortable working in AI-assisted or agentic development environments and adopting new AI-driven workflows quickly
