- • As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multiple venture capital firms, acting as a trusted financial partner to their General Partners (GPs).
- • This role involves regular, in-depth consultations with GPs to thoroughly understand their unique financial accounting needs and operational challenges.
- • You will be responsible for assessing current financial processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline and optimize accounting workflows.
- • A key aspect of your responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting and accounting services, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

- • You will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related reporting for a portfolio of venture capital funds.
- • Perform complex reconciliations of capital accounts, investment portfolios, and cash balances.
- • Ensure compliance with fund agreements, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- • Assist with the audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients (GPs), serving as their primary point of contact for all accounting-related matters.
- • Proactively identify and address any accounting or operational issues, offering practical and effective solutions.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our fund accounting processes and methodologies, leveraging technology and best practices.
- • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the venture capital and fund accounting space.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in fund accounting, with a significant focus on venture capital or private equity funds.
- • Strong understanding of GAAP, fund structures, partnership accounting, capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting.
- • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills; experience with specialized fund accounting platforms is a plus.
- • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with clients (GPs) and internal teams.
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
