• • As a Senior General Ledger Accountant at AMBOSS Technologies Inc., you will step into a pivotal role within our dynamic Accounting & Tax team, taking full ownership of critical accounting functions for our expanding SaaS portfolio. • • Your core responsibility will be to manage the complete month-end and year-end closing processes for one or more of our legal entities. This involves meticulous preparation of financial statements, ensuring all entries are accurate, compliant, and reflect the true financial position of the company. You will delve into complex accounting areas, including but not limited to revenue recognition for our SaaS model, intricate inter-company transactions, accurate provisioning, and timely accruals, demonstrating a deep understanding of both regulatory requirements and business operations.
• • A significant aspect of this role is acting as the primary point of contact for our external auditors. You will coordinate audit processes, provide necessary documentation, and respond to inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit experience. This requires not only technical accounting knowledge but also strong communication and organizational skills to manage expectations and timelines effectively.
• • You will play a crucial role in enhancing our accounting infrastructure by driving the transition from our current DATEV system to the Workday ERP. From an accounting perspective, you will be a key stakeholder, ensuring that the new system meets our complex financial reporting needs and that the transition is seamless, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. This includes contributing to system design, testing, and user training.
• • Beyond day-to-day closing activities, you will be a catalyst for change, actively identifying opportunities to design, improve, and implement accounting processes and internal controls.
