• • **Day-to-Day Responsibilities:**
• • **Own the Financial Close Process:** Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring the general ledger is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. This includes preparing and posting journals (accruals, amortizations, prepayments, reclassifications, and intercompany entries) and ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or local GAAP).
• • **Balance Sheet Reconciliations:** Take ownership of bank reconciliations and priority balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. Your keen eye for detail will be critical in identifying and addressing anomalies that could impact financial reporting.
• • **ERP System Management:** Manage financial data imports and exports between NiCE’s ERP system (NetSuite experience is a strong plus) and other finance systems. Your technical proficiency will ensure seamless data flow and system integration, reducing manual errors and improving efficiency.
• • **VAT and Tax Reporting Support:** Assist in VAT and tax reporting activities, including reviews, checks, and booking accuracy. Collaborate with the Tax team to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, minimizing risk and optimizing financial outcomes.
• • **Audit and Compliance Leadership:** Act as a key point of contact during internal and external audits, preparing reconciliations, schedules, and documentation. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring audit readiness and demonstrating adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• • **Process Improvement and Automation:** Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations, leveraging your expertise to propose and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains. Your proactive approach will help NiCE stay ahead in a dynamic financial landscape.
