- • Pebl Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior General Ledger Specialist to join our dynamic Global India Finance Team. This full-time position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our global accounting and financial reporting operations across multiple entities. As a Senior General Ledger Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing end-to-end general ledger responsibilities, providing critical oversight of regional financial operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of month-end close activities. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting and supporting our company's ambitious global growth trajectory.
- • Your core responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical accounting functions. You will perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all discrepancies between bank statements and our financial records are identified and resolved promptly. This proactive approach to reconciliation is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy of our cash positions and overall financial health.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves managing payroll accounting and reporting. You will be responsible for the accurate recording of all payroll costs within the general ledger and will collaborate closely with the Payroll team to investigate and resolve any variances. This ensures that our employee compensation is reflected correctly and compliantly in our financial statements.
- • You will also be tasked with managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations. This involves ensuring that all intercompany balances are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant accounting standards. Proactive coordination with relevant stakeholders across different entities will be essential to resolve any discrepancies and maintain financial harmony across the organization.
- • The Senior General Ledger Specialist will manage fixed asset accounting, overseeing the entire lifecycle from capitalization of new assets to disposals and accurate depreciation calculations. This requires a thorough understanding of applicable accounting standards and internal policies to ensure compliance and proper asset valuation.
- • You will play an active and vital role in our month-end close activities. This includes the timely preparation of essential accruals, prepayments, and other critical close-related reports. Your contributions will directly impact the speed and accuracy of our financial closing process.
- • Preparing and posting month-end journal entries is a key duty. This includes entries for bank charges, prepaid expenses, accruals, funding transactions, and closing journals. Each entry must be accurate, timely, and supported by comprehensive documentation, demonstrating a strong commitment to audit readiness.
- • Ensuring the accuracy of all funding entries is paramount. You will proactively engage with stakeholders to identify and rectify any discrepancies, maintaining the integrity of our cash flow reporting.
- • This role also involves providing ad hoc financial reporting and accounting support as requested by management and internal stakeholders. Your ability to respond to diverse financial queries and provide insightful analysis will be highly valued.
- • To ensure operational continuity, you will serve as a backup resource for other team members, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team's overall success. This cross-training is vital for maintaining robust financial operations.
- • Maintaining complete and accurate documentation for all assigned accounting activities and processes is a non-negotiable aspect of this role. This documentation is crucial for internal controls, audit purposes, and knowledge transfer.
