📋 Description
- • Join Mark43 as a Senior Implementation Engineer, a pivotal role within our Integrations Architecture team. You will be instrumental in designing, advising on, and implementing the robust infrastructure that underpins critical interfaces and Identity Management solutions for the Mark43 Product suite. Your expertise will directly empower public safety organizations, enabling them to streamline and secure their vital operations through cutting-edge, resilient technology.
- • As a Senior Implementation Engineer, you will serve as the go-to expert for complex integration challenges. This involves architecting and recommending best practices for deploying and maintaining a hybrid infrastructure that seamlessly supports customer system integrations. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring our technology integrates flawlessly with diverse public safety systems.
- • You will be responsible for troubleshooting intricate issues within containerized clusters running on AWS. This requires deep technical acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and customer success teams to ensure swift and efficient resolution, minimizing disruption to our clients.
- • Engage with and resolve complex, non-standard support requests that may involve custom Linux configurations or serverless setups. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in navigating unique technical landscapes and delivering effective solutions.
- • Develop and document a comprehensive set of reusable infrastructure patterns. These patterns will be designed to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability across all deployments, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
- • Actively participate in strategic planning sessions focused on evolving our infrastructure approach. Your insights will be critical in scaling our interface delivery capabilities to meet the growing demands of our public safety partners.
- • Gain a deep understanding of and leverage various Identity and Management systems, particularly Single Sign-On (SSO) service providers. You will be responsible for implementing and ensuring secure SSO authentication for our customers, enhancing user experience and security posture.
- • Implement and manage digital certificates within Linux and clustered environments. This includes understanding certificate lifecycle management, ensuring secure communication, and troubleshooting related issues.
- • Work with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, focusing on scaling, troubleshooting, and ensuring the stability of our deployed applications. Experience with Rancher for multi-cluster management and policy enforcement is highly valued.
- • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a strong emphasis on authoring and maintaining Terraform modules and workspaces. You will be expected to adhere to best practices for state storage and CI integration to ensure reproducible and manageable infrastructure.
- • Drive CI/CD automation by designing, building, and operating robust pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions. This includes managing build, test, and deployment processes, implementing effective branching strategies, and ensuring secure handling of secrets.
- • Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) flows using protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect, acting as a service provider to integrate with customer identity solutions.
- • Leverage AWS container services like EKS and ECS, as well as serverless technologies like Lambda, to build and manage scalable solutions. You will also be involved in integrating these cloud-native services with on-premises systems.
- • Manage hybrid networking configurations, including VPNs and Direct Connect, and maintain Linux certificate management to ensure secure and reliable connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.
- • Apply deep expertise in Linux administration, including custom kernel configurations, package management, and security hardening, to ensure the optimal performance and security of our systems.
- • Manage the full lifecycle of certificates, including issuance and rotation, using tools like OpenSSL, Let's Encrypt, and enterprise Certificate Authorities (CAs).
- • Document and codify reusable infrastructure patterns and solutions to promote team-wide adoption and maintain consistency across the organization.
- • This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the U.S. (specific states apply, see below). Occasional on-site travel may be required. You will be part of a mission-driven company dedicated to improving public safety through technology.
