- • As a Graphics Engineer on the NBA 2K team at Visual Concepts, you will play a critical role in advancing the visual fidelity and performance of one of the most acclaimed sports franchises in gaming, working within a collaborative, innovative studio environment that values technical excellence and creative problem-solving.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include exploring and implementing cutting-edge rendering technologies, optimizing GPU performance for high-fidelity gameplay, collaborating with art and design teams to refine the visual style of NBA 2K, leading enhancements in VFX, lighting, and post-processing, and contributing to system-wide upgrades to keep the rendering pipeline current and competitive.
- • You will join a global network of studios in Novato, Irvine, Budapest, Shanghai, Austin, Boise, Seoul, and Parksville, Canada, where teams are empowered, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to pushing the boundaries of game development through artistry and technical innovation.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in game or graphics development
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- • Advanced proficiency in HLSL or a comparable shading language
- • Strong grasp of 3D math concepts and applications
- • Deep understanding of optimization techniques and trade-offs
- • Ability to write efficient, portable, reliable, and readable C/C++ code
