- • At Twilio, we are revolutionizing how the world interacts by empowering millions of developers and hundreds of thousands of businesses with innovative communication solutions. Our commitment to a remote-first work environment fosters a strong culture of connection, global inclusion, and diverse experiences, allowing you to make a global impact from wherever you are.
- • As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be the operational backbone for our Account Executives (AEs), acting as the crucial link between various internal functions and the sales cycle. Your primary focus will be to streamline processes, manage administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth execution of deals, enabling AEs to concentrate on strategic client relationships and revenue generation.
- • You will be instrumental in managing the entire deal lifecycle, from initial pricing discussions to final order form execution. This includes preparing pricing and deal structures, mastering internal pricing tools, and accurately creating and amending order forms. Your diligence in engaging with client stakeholders will ensure that Proposals and Bills of Materials (BOMs) are precise and comprehensive.
- • A significant part of your role will involve navigating and mastering our Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) workflows. You will be responsible for generating customer-facing quotes and ensuring all details are accurately reflected, providing a seamless experience for our clients.
- • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system will be a key responsibility. This involves overseeing and updating account data, managing ownership queries, facilitating account consolidation and SID movements, and ensuring all opportunity, contact, and lead-level data is current and precise.
- • You will serve as a vital internal liaison, coordinating with various departments to ensure all sales-related processes are executed efficiently. This includes initiating and tracking requests for Billing, DSO, Legal, Security Questionnaires, Collections/Credit Memos, Credit Checks, Carrier Relations, and Support Tickets.
- • Your collaboration with internal stakeholders across Deal Desk, Contracts, Legal, Pre-Sales, and Security teams will be essential to ensure all paperwork is accurately completed and all aspects of the sales process are smooth and compliant. You will adeptly manage interactions with people, data sets, and complex processes.
- • This role offers the opportunity to directly engage with customers by joining AEs on client calls. You will be prepared to explain and present aspects related to pricing, deal structures, and order forms, and to conduct essential research for sales meetings, contributing to a significant portion of your responsibilities (less than 10% of your time).
- • You will play a critical role in supporting overall team success by creating and maintaining team-level trackers for cross-functional challenges and requests. You will proactively work with Regional and frontline leadership to follow up on these items and drive them to resolution, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- • We are seeking a hungry, ambitious individual with a genuine passion for communications and AI, a strong desire to deliver positive customer outcomes, and an aspiration to be part of a world-class sales organization. Your proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail will be key to your success in this dynamic role.
- • Twilio values diverse experiences and encourages applications from individuals with varied backgrounds. If you are results-driven, detail-oriented, and excited to fuel a successful organization, we want to hear from you. A collaborative spirit, a "can-do" attitude, and a relentless pursuit of solutions are essential qualities we seek.
- • This position requires a fundamental understanding of how different functions within an enterprise organization operate, enabling you to navigate complex internal structures effectively. Your ability to advocate for customers internally with cross-functional stakeholders will be highly valued.
- • You will demonstrate extreme attention to detail in all written and verbal communications and possess exceptional organizational skills. Above-average proficiency in spreadsheets, document creation, and presentations is expected, showcasing your operational excellence.
- • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously is crucial for success in this fast-paced environment.
- • While not strictly required, knowledge in SaaS/PaaS/CPaaS and telecom is a significant plus, as is the capability to utilize IT tools including Groupware/Collaborative software, Productivity tools, and SFA/CRM/MA systems.
- • We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, adapt, and grow within a rapidly evolving industry. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and success of our sales operations in Japan.
