📋 Description

• Architect & scale the backbone of the world’s most powerful customer-engagement platform. You will own the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of high-throughput, low-latency email APIs and micro-services that currently process 2.2 billion requests and 2 billion instant notifications per day across 450+ servers.
• Write clean, expressive, and testable Go code that powers the email delivery engine for 2,000+ brands—from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 giants like Samsung, Nike, L’Oréal, Singapore Airlines, Nestlé, and IKEA. Your work will directly influence how 25 % of global users experience personalized email journeys.
• Tackle complex technical challenges at the intersection of distributed systems, data consistency, and real-time performance. You will profile, debug, and optimize every layer of the stack—from TCP tuning to memory allocation—to shave milliseconds off delivery times and ensure 99.99 % availability.
• Lead by example in a cross-functional squad that practices true agile delivery. You will pair-program, conduct rigorous code reviews, and champion best practices such as TDD, continuous integration, and automated canary deployments. Your mentorship will level-up junior engineers and cultivate a culture of psychological safety and relentless improvement.
• Own observability end-to-end. You will define SLIs/SLOs, instrument services with OpenTelemetry, build Grafana dashboards, and set up intelligent alerting so anomalies are caught before customers feel them. When incidents occur, you will run blameless post-mortems and turn lessons learned into resilient architecture.
• Collaborate tightly with Product, Data Science, and Customer Success to translate ambitious road-maps into shippable features. Whether it’s dynamic AMP emails, AI-driven send-time optimization, or privacy-compliant data pipelines, you will translate business goals into elegant technical solutions.
• Contribute to the open-source community and our internal guilds. You will share knowledge through Tech & Dev Talks, publish blog posts, and represent Insiderone at meet-ups and conferences—cementing our reputation as thought leaders in email infrastructure and Golang engineering.
• Champion security and compliance. You will implement OAuth2, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and GDPR workflows, ensuring every email sent is trusted, secure, and respectful of user privacy. You will also participate in regular red-team exercises and security audits.
• Innovate with AI. You will integrate machine-learning models that predict optimal subject lines, content blocks, and delivery windows—turning raw data into revenue-generating intelligence. You will work with 100 TB of historical data to refine these models continuously.
• Shape the future of remote-first engineering in Türkiye. You will help define coding standards, architectural decision records, and onboarding playbooks that allow 50 nationalities to ship faster together while working from anywhere in the country.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years of hands-on Go development in production environments
• Proven track record designing and operating distributed systems at web scale (millions of requests per day) with 99.9 %+ uptime
• Deep understanding of concurrency patterns, memory management, and performance tuning in Go
• Experience with email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and deliverability standards (DKIM, SPF, DMARC) is a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
