- • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, from onboarding to production roll-out.
- • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer use cases, technical requirements, and success criteria during initial onboarding.
- • Participate in weekly syncs with onboarding customers to ensure successful integration of Metriport into their workflows and ongoing value delivery.
- • Maintain post-onboarding customer relationships through regular check-ins and responsive support via communication channels.
- • Provide technical guidance on product capabilities, API integrations, and implementation best practices to customers.
- • Troubleshoot and debug customer-reported issues, escalating complex problems to the engineering team when necessary.
- • Manage customer requests and issues by assessing priority, coordinating cross-functionally with engineering, tracking resolution progress, and communicating outcomes.
- • Attend weekly team syncs to report on customer status, surface systemic issues, and align customer feedback with product development priorities.
- • Proactively communicate relevant product updates and new feature releases to customers based on their use cases and needs.
- • Participate in bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives, as well as quarterly strategic planning sessions.
- • Manage and maintain APIs and integrations to ensure seamless, reliable functionality for healthcare customers.
- • Work directly with customers from initial scoping through full production deployment, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- • Attend a daily 30-minute remote stand-up at 7:30am PST Monday through Friday (the only mandatory meeting).
- • Rapidly ramp up using comprehensive onboarding materials to gain familiarity with Metriport’s domain, codebase, and healthcare data standards.
- • Operate with high autonomy and ownership, focusing on delivering customer value over technological novelty.
- • Approach implementation challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset, asking how tasks can be accelerated from weeks to days.
- • Demonstrate adaptability by diving into unfamiliar domains and solving problems outside of predefined expertise.
- • Balance technical rigor with customer-centricity, prioritizing outcomes over tools or frameworks.
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex integration issues and improve product reliability.
- • Ensure compliance and accuracy in handling patient data through careful implementation practices.
- • Represent Metriport professionally in customer interactions, building trust and long-term partnerships.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years experience supporting software implementation
- • Full-stack experience: React, TypeScript, Node.js
- • Located in San Francisco or the Bay Area (or willing to relocate)
- • Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HIPAA, FHIR, HIE, IHE, EHR/EMR, NPI, TEFCA, ADT, HL7, HEDIS, RAF, SNOMED, LOINC, ICD-10 is a plus
