- • Lead end-to-end execution of critical IT infrastructure projects during a period of rapid global expansion, ensuring technical setup, configuration, and operational rollout are completed with precision and scalability.
- • Spend 60% of time managing infrastructure initiatives including network architecture, cloud services, automation pipelines, and system integrations to support Omnidian’s distributed workforce across the US, Australia, and Latin America.
- • Partner with Information Security teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate system vulnerabilities, reducing exposure and maintaining compliance with security standards.
- • Provide Level 2+ technical escalation support for IT systems used by an asynchronous, global workforce, resolving complex issues related to authentication, access control, endpoint management, and network connectivity.
- • Optimize global infrastructure configurations to minimize system drift, improve reliability, and ensure consistent performance across all regions.
- • Leverage modern AI-powered tools and automation frameworks to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks and increase operational efficiency across infrastructure workflows.
- • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure systems that support Omnidian’s mission-critical solar and energy storage performance assurance platform.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer success teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business growth objectives.
- • Document infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and incident response protocols to ensure knowledge retention and team-wide consistency.
- • Monitor system health and performance metrics using observability tools to proactively detect anomalies and prevent service disruptions.
- • Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Infrastructure as Code) templates, and configuration management systems to enable rapid, repeatable deployments.
- • Ensure all infrastructure components adhere to B Corp certification standards for ethical and sustainable technology practices.
- • Work on a hybrid schedule, spending designated days in the Seattle office to facilitate face-to-face collaboration with team members and strengthen cross-team alignment.
- • Stay current with emerging infrastructure technologies and evaluate their applicability to Omnidian’s evolving technical environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading enterprise-grade IT infrastructure projects in a fast-growing tech company
- • Demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- • Strong background in network security, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks
- • Experience providing Level 2+ technical support for global, asynchronous teams
- • Proficiency in automation tools and AI-powered solutions to reduce manual operational overhead
- • Ability to work on a hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence in Seattle
