📋 Description
- • Design, build, and maintain a global, distributed, and resilient cloud infrastructure for Workato’s enterprise-grade iPaaS platform.
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and deliver complex platform initiatives that support real-time orchestration at scale.
- • Patch and optimize open-source components for performance, stability, and security across distributed systems.
- • Manage and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and operational efficiency.
- • Write and maintain Kubernetes manifests and deployment configurations for critical production workloads.
- • Tune Linux systems and open-source software for high performance, low latency, and hardened security postures.
- • Build internal tools to streamline engineering workflows, reduce operational toil, and enable automation across infrastructure teams.
- • Participate in architecture reviews, incident response, and performance analysis to ensure system reliability and rapid recovery from failures.
- • Operate infrastructure at scale with a focus on security best practices, compliance, and observability across multi-region cloud environments.
- • Work within a cloud-native architecture that connects applications, data sources, and AI workflows for Fortune 500 enterprises.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure tooling, monitoring, and deployment pipelines to support rapid innovation.
- • Ensure infrastructure scalability and resilience to support Workato’s growth and 50% penetration among Fortune 500 customers.
- • Maintain deep expertise in Linux internals, including networking, kernel tuning, and system-level resource management.
- • Apply cloud security principles to protect data, services, and APIs across a globally distributed platform.
- • Support operational excellence through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and automated remediation strategies.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles.
- • Proven expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- • Strong understanding of Linux internals, including networking and system-level performance tuning.
- • Experience operating infrastructure on AWS at scale.
- • Proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes.
- • Solid understanding of network security and cloud security best practices.
