- • Balance short-term execution with long-term strategic goals, setting ambitious OKRs and identifying when diminishing returns require reallocation of focus to maximize business impact.
- • Formulate analytical questions to uncover root causes and trends in inventory data, synthesizing complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform product and operational strategy.
- • Anticipate the impact of market shifts, product updates, and supplier changes on inventory performance, influencing product roadmaps and technical standards to ensure scalability across regions.
- • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on automation, monitoring, and workflow optimization that span multiple teams, owning the narrative for senior stakeholders by linking operational outcomes to business objectives.
- • Champion AI-first thinking by identifying manual processes ripe for AI-driven redesign, coaching peers on AI adoption, and translating AI capabilities into measurable improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
- • Design governance frameworks and scalable systems that prevent recurring issues rather than merely reacting to them, ensuring consistent quality in travel and spend content across global markets.
- • Serve as a mentor and influence without formal authority, raising the bar for team performance through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing in a senior individual contributor role.
- • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs with transparency and presence to executive stakeholders using data-backed narratives that align operational work with company-wide goals.
- • Maintain deep expertise in inventory systems, GDS, APIs, supplier content flows, and booking infrastructure, using this knowledge to anticipate ecosystem-wide ripple effects from changes.
- • Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and reliability by embedding quality controls into operational workflows and collaborating with product and engineering teams to refine tooling.
- • Act as a bridge between operations, product, and engineering teams to ensure inventory systems evolve in alignment with business needs and technological capabilities.
- • Ensure all operational frameworks are adaptable to diverse markets while maintaining global consistency in data quality and supplier content standards.
- • Translate technical constraints and opportunities into strategic operational decisions that enhance platform performance and user experience for enterprise customers worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–6 years of experience in operations, travel technology, or supplier management with a track record of increasing scope and cross-functional impact
- • Expert knowledge of inventory systems, GDS, APIs, supplier content flows, and booking infrastructure
- • Proven ability to design scalable frameworks and governance models that prevent recurring issues
- • Experience mentoring others and raising team standards without formal management responsibility
- • Strong executive communication skills with ability to craft data-backed narratives for senior stakeholders
- • Strategic thinking skills that connect operational work to business outcomes and enable confident trade-off decisions
