📋 Description

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, leveraging both SwiftUI and UIKit to build high-quality, production-grade mobile experiences for contractor-facing workflows.
• Build and enhance core features including job scheduling, digital documents, client contact management, mobile payments, and subscription management within a field-service management platform used by small business owners across North America.
• Own the architecture and scalability of the existing iOS codebase, implementing clean, maintainable, and modular solutions that align with established engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Backend, Android, and Web engineers to ensure seamless feature integration and consistent user experiences across platforms.
• Perform thorough code reviews, champion mobile engineering best practices, and actively contribute to technical decision-making and architectural discussions.
• Debug complex production issues, profile application performance, and systematically resolve bottlenecks to ensure high app stability and responsiveness.
• Write and maintain comprehensive automated tests using XCTest and document technical architecture decisions and implementation details for knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Connect mobile clients to backend systems via REST APIs, managing networking layers with attention to reliability, error handling, and data synchronization.
• Utilize asynchronous and reactive programming paradigms with tools such as Combine, RxSwift, or modern Async/Await to manage complex data flows and user interactions.
• Apply deep expertise in mobile architecture patterns, specifically MVVM, and implement clean Dependency Injection to improve testability and code maintainability.
• Navigate Xcode proficiently for debugging, performance optimization, and managing complex iOS projects with established CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of mobile development standards, tooling, and processes to elevate the quality and velocity of the engineering team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated native iOS development experience building and maintaining production-grade mobile applications.
• Deep, hands-on mastery of Swift, including building robust user interfaces with both SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns, specifically MVVM, along with experience implementing clean Dependency Injection.
• Proficiency with asynchronous and reactive programming paradigms utilizing tools such as RxSwift, Combine, or modern Async/Await.
• Extensive experience connecting mobile clients to backend systems via REST APIs and managing networking layers.
• Solid familiarity with testing frameworks (such as XCTest) and expert navigation of Xcode for mobile debugging and performance optimization.
