📋 Description

• Senior IT Auditor performs more complex Information Technology audits, internal controls and SOX projects across the organization, ensuring that controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.
• Job responsibilities include independently performing IT process walkthroughs to identify key activities, risks and controls; applying risk and control concepts to assess IT control design and develop a test approach; testing the effectiveness of controls; discussing with management and reporting control design deficiencies; validating resolution and implementation of corrective action plans; providing suggestions to mitigate risk or enhance process effectiveness; maintaining organizational and professional ethical standards; completing workpapers and deliverables independently with limited supervision; and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• The role interacts with all levels across the organization and builds relationships with external auditors, operating within Ryan Specialty’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• The person can develop advanced expertise in IT audit methodologies, SOX compliance, cybersecurity controls, and internal audit standards while gaining exposure to cross-functional stakeholder engagement and leadership in risk mitigation initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Three or more years of IT audit experience
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Management Information Systems or other related discipline
• Strong work ethic, client service attitude and demonstrated team player
• Organized, with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through constant changes
