- • Senior Java Software Engineer role within CSG’s Product R&D team, contributing to the development of the CSG Quote & Order platform—a cutting-edge CPQ solution used by global brands in telecommunications and banking to modernize customer experiences.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include championing clean, efficient code through PR feedback, mentoring teammates, collaborating with product and design to translate customer needs into features, taking ownership of system performance by resolving bottlenecks, and evaluating emerging tools and frameworks to drive innovation.
- • The team operates with a collaborative, learning-focused culture that values diversity and continuous improvement, leveraging microservices, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and GitOps/IaC pipelines to deliver scalable, cloud- and on-premise-ready solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern Java (17+), cloud-native architectures, and DevOps practices while gaining influence as a technical leader and mentor, directly impacting product quality and customer outcomes in a high-growth, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience building with modern Java SE (including Java 17+)
- • Proficiency with Linux and Docker in daily development workflows
- • Experience with GitHub, Maven, and Kubernetes for CI/CD and container orchestration
- • Familiarity with microservice architecture, Kafka for event streaming, and PostgreSQL for data storage
- • Bonus: Experience with AWS/Azure, PL/PGSQL, MyBatis, Camunda BPMN Engine, or REST API frameworks
