- • Apply instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to develop solutions that address knowledge or performance gaps for adult learners.
- • Analyze and organize content to design learning solutions including storyboards, scripts, performance support materials, mobile learning modules, and training manuals.
- • Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and provide input for course content development.
- • Write clear, measurable learning goals and coordinate performance assessments to evaluate training effectiveness.
- • Track and analyze training program effectiveness using learner satisfaction data, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement metrics.
- • Shape and develop training curriculum, materials, and job aids tailored to specific organizational and learner needs.
- • Conduct needs analyses with clients to determine the necessity and relevance of proposed learning solutions.
- • Provide instruction and guidance to facilitators delivering training programs.
- • Utilize social media and collaborative tools to enhance engagement and facilitate peer-based learning.
- • Influence departmental strategy and make independent decisions on technical approaches for learning project components.
- • Ensure all course materials remain current, compliant, and aligned with evolving training objectives and regulatory requirements.
- • Exercise considerable autonomy in determining goals and execution methods for assignments, working independently with minimal supervision.
- • Manage courses within a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver, track, and report on learner progress and outcomes.
- • Design virtual instructor-led training sessions that engage adult learners and replicate effective in-person learning experiences.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of member and customer experiences through data-driven learning interventions.
- • Maintain proficiency in core productivity tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams for content development and collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- • At least 3 years of experience in learning design focused on adult learners
- • Minimum 2 years in a consumer-facing position demonstrating customer orientation
- • Proficiency with Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise
- • Demonstrated experience with eLearning strategies and adult learning theories
- • Experience contributing to continuous improvement of member and customer experiences
