- • Reporting to VP,Learning ,as a Senior Learning Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading, operating, and continuously improving a training and readiness programme supporting over 1,000 resources globally for our Technology client.
- • The programme is evolving and scaling at speed, requiring strong operational leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across a highly matrixed organization.
- • The Learning Programme Manager partners closely with a Learning Director based in South Africa but owns day-to-day programme operations independently.
- • Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
- • Your primary responsibilities will include:
- • Owning end-to-end operational delivery of the training and readiness programme across multiple, interdependent workstreams, setting priorities and ensuring delivery against them
- • Leading onboarding and readiness experiences for programme participants, keeping them consistent, high quality, and scalable as the programme grows and changes
- • Leading and facilitating cross-functional meetings, including global forums and steering-style discussions, and making sure they end in clear decisions and follow-through
- • Presenting regular programme updates, insights, and risks to senior stakeholders and the Learning Director, translating day-to-day detail into a clear narrative
- • Running training refresh cycles, managing the knock-on effects when processes, tools, or requirements change
- • Owning quarterly content governance cycles, keeping materials accurate, compliant, and aligned to evolving business needs
- • Managing intake, prioritisation, tracking, and delivery of training and readiness requests, and balancing competing priorities at scale
- • Maintaining and improving operational trackers, governance logs, and programme documentation as the programme evolves
- • Monitoring programme health metrics and turning them into insight, spotting trends in training completion, readiness, and risk areas
- • Spotting programme risks early, assessing them, and escalating with clear context and a recommendation rather than just a flag
- • Acting as the point of escalation for operational issues, driving them to resolution across teams and vendors
- • Managing day-to-day relationships with vendor partners and holding them to quality and delivery standards
- • Partnering with the Learning Director on continuous improvement work, including AI, automation, and process optimisation pilots.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience within training operations, enablement, program operations, or operational excellence, ideally in a global or enterprise environment
- • Proven ability to own a program end to end, including making and defending prioritization calls
- • Comfort operating in a fast-changing, still-developing program rather than a fully settled one
- • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and drive decisions without formal authority
- • Demonstrated experience identifying, managing, and mitigating operational and program-level risks
- • Demonstrated experience in operationalising processes using AI at a Claude, Copilot or GPT interface rather than bought specialist tools
- • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex, parallel workstreams with minimal oversight
- • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable turning data into clear insights and narratives
- • Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication skills in English, including with senior stakeholders
- • Comfort operating in a global, matrixed environment across time zones and cultures
- • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity
