- • As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on Zillow’s Agentic AI team, you will develop large-scale, fault-tolerant multimodal agentic experiences that reach millions of customers, helping transform the real estate industry through AI-powered home shopping assistants.
- • Day to day, you will design and develop multiple agent interaction modes including Voice AI and Deep Research, pioneer evaluation frameworks and safety guardrails for trustworthy AI agents, and lead complex multi-team initiatives bridging applied research and scalable engineering.
- • The Agentic AI team at Zillow is a lean, customer-focused group of engineers with autonomy to ship features quickly and make independent decisions, working at the forefront of AI innovation in real estate.
- • In this role, you will distill complex research and AI system architectures into actionable insights for executives and cross-functional teams, while staying on the cutting edge of agentic paradigms and converting them into tangible product innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree or above, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with emphasis on building products using frontier multimodal LLMs
- • 5+ years of experience deploying large-scale ML models, with most recent 2-3 years building agent-based systems, multi-agent collaboration, or similar paradigms
- • Experience developing engaging dialogue systems capable of long conversations, context-aware tool selection, and compliant response generation
- • Experience building AI services handling hundreds of millions of daily interactions with high availability, low latency, and robust fault tolerance
- • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, Agents SDK, AutoGen, and production ML infrastructure
- • Strong communication skills with ability to influence technical direction across teams and present to executive leadership
