📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of Jerry.ai’s AI platform and customer experiences, from initial roadmap definition to global rollout, focusing on automating fragmented car ownership processes using LLMs, agents, and internal APIs.
• Partner directly with engineering teams to design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails that balance latency, cost, and accuracy across AI-driven customer interactions.
• Serve as the primary technical translator between engineering, product, and cross-functional teams, establishing and promoting AI best practices and platform standards across the organization.
• Drive systematic improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through rigorous experimentation, data analysis, and A/B testing of AI workflows.
• Collaborate with OpenAI to evaluate, test, and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation capabilities integrated into the ChatGPT App.
• Own the strategic evolution of Jerry.ai’s AI-powered customer experience, moving beyond incremental optimization to redefine how an entire $2T industry interacts with automated services.
• Define and implement standards for human-in-the-loop feedback systems that enhance model performance while maintaining scalability and regulatory compliance.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on AI platform goals and performance metrics.
• Analyze production data using SQL to validate hypotheses, identify automation bottlenecks, and guide product decisions with empirical evidence.
• Build and scale a production-grade AI platform that currently automates over 70% of inbound sales and service requests, maintaining high reliability and customer trust.
• Work in a regulated production environment where AI systems directly impact consumer financial and operational decisions, requiring careful attention to safety, accuracy, and compliance.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement by staying ahead of LLM release cycles, experimenting with new model capabilities, and applying cutting-edge AI research to real-world use cases.
• Lead initiatives that integrate Jerry.ai services directly into third-party platforms like ChatGPT, expanding the reach and utility of the AI agent ecosystem.
• Act as a systems thinker who can dive into technical discussions about API design and architecture while also communicating effectively with leadership on strategic impact and ROI.
• Maintain ownership of high-impact metrics tied to automation rates, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, using data-driven conviction to prioritize initiatives.
• Contribute to defining the long-term vision for Jerry.ai as the first super app for car ownership, where AI agents serve as the core interface for managing vehicle-related needs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in management consulting or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
• Proven interest in modern LLM systems and experience working in a regulated production environment
• Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards
• A track record of taking complex, strategic ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products
• Familiarity with SQL and comfort diving into data to answer questions and validate hypotheses
• Intrinsically motivated technologist who actively builds custom AI workflows and stays current with LLM release notes
