- • As a Senior Manager, Business Analytics at CVS Health’s Aetna division, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating complex healthcare data into actionable insights that directly improve mental health outcomes, access, and affordability for over 26 million medical members. Your work will be pivotal in advancing CVS Health’s mission to simplify healthcare by enabling data-driven decisions that enhance clinical quality, member experience, and operational performance across the enterprise.
- • Day to day, you will serve as a strategic partner to clinicians, analysts, and external stakeholders by developing measurement strategies to monitor and report key performance indicators; managing communications with vendors and providers to drive improvements in clinical quality and member experience; developing robust business cases, visual insights, and compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate quality improvement objectives and results; presenting data-driven narratives and recommendations to leadership to inform strategic decisions; building and maintaining project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely execution from initiation to completion; collaborating cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical requirements; performing deep-dive analyses using healthcare claims, clinical, and financial data in relational databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures; creating interactive reports and dashboards by integrating data from multiple sources using BI tools; interpreting analytical results to recommend process improvements, refined metric definitions, and enhanced evaluation methods; conducting rigorous data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights for stakeholder use; preparing detailed documentation such as process diagrams, wireframes, metric definitions, and pseudocode to support reproducibility and knowledge sharing; monitoring data availability, consistency, and accuracy across systems to uphold data integrity; and providing ongoing feedback and strategic advice to management to guide enterprise-wide decision making.
