📋 Description
- • Own end-to-end brand partnerships strategy across FR, DE, ES, UK, and US markets, closing deals with major brands in Home Appliances (SharkNinja, Dyson, Groupe SEB, Philips), Laptops (ASUS, Dell, Lenovo), Consoles (Sony, PlayStation, Valve), Mobile (Google Pixel, Samsung), and Tech Accessories (DJI, reMarkable).
- • Lead the expansion of the "Certified by" program, with a primary focus on establishing impactful brand alliances in the UK and US, where no such partnerships currently exist.
- • Design, launch, and scale commercial product bundles that increase perceived value, such as device + freemium service pairings (e.g., iPad + Duolingo, Apple Watch + Strava).
- • Manage the full partnership pipeline from initial outreach and pitching through negotiation, contract structuring, and go-live, ensuring seamless handoff to Business Development and Account Management teams within a 3-month window.
- • Establish governance frameworks for partner relationships, including regular performance reporting, joint KPI tracking, and sharing of best practices across international markets.
- • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to align partnership initiatives with broader business goals and technical capabilities.
- • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective brand and bundle partners, leveraging market expertise from GM teams in EU, UK, and US to strengthen local credibility and commercial legitimacy.
- • Represent Back Market at relevant industry events to enhance brand visibility and foster external partnerships.
- • Benchmark Back Market’s partnership offerings against competitors and proactively identify emerging opportunities in refurbished tech commercialization.
- • Own and improve key performance indicators including pipeline health, "Certified by" program growth, bundle GMV, and average order value (AOV) impact.
- • Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment without a predefined playbook, translating pipeline metrics into actionable business recommendations.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively with both external brand stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and execution.
- • Contribute to a mission-driven culture focused on making refurbished tech the obvious choice by reducing environmental impact through every transaction.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in business development, brand partnerships, or commercial alliances, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer tech
- • Proven track record of closing and managing complex deals with large, multi-stakeholder organizations
- • Strong multi-market experience across EU and US regions
- • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate pipeline metrics into business recommendations
- • Fluent in English; French is a plus
- • Ability to work autonomously, move quickly, and operate without a predefined playbook
