- • Lead and scale a high-performing EU-based data science and data engineering team at RingCentral, driving advanced analytics and robust data infrastructure to support business growth across Europe while ensuring full compliance with GDPR and data governance standards.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and growing a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, fostering innovation and accountability, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in product, sales, marketing, and customer success, designing and deploying customer intelligence models (such as upsell/cross-sell propensity and churn prediction), enhancing pricing models for revenue optimization, overseeing scalable ETL pipelines and data quality, owning and evolving the RingIQ customer intelligence platform, leveraging modern data stack technologies (Oracle, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS), evaluating emerging AI/ML tools, and establishing best practices in data governance, privacy, and security to ensure compliant handling of sensitive customer data.
- • The team operates within RingCentral’s European data organization, collaborating closely with global product and go-to-market functions to deliver data-driven insights that power customer intelligence, pricing strategies, and AI-enabled services, all under a culture of technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- • In this role, the individual will develop leadership expertise in managing distributed technical teams, deepen strategic impact through ML-driven business initiatives, gain platform ownership experience with RingIQ, and advance proficiency in enterprise-scale data architectures while shaping the future of data-driven decision-making in a fast-growing cloud communications leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- • 10+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or related technical roles
- • 3+ years of proven experience managing high-performing technical teams
- • Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and customer analytics
- • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms including Oracle, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- • Proven track record in building and scaling ETL pipelines and data infrastructure
- • Deep understanding of GDPR and EU data privacy frameworks
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
