📋 Description

• • Lead and manage a high-performing team of senior engineers responsible for Docker's critical developer-facing interfaces, including SDKs, client libraries, and integrations.
• • Drive technical strategy and execution for the Clients & SDKs team, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and maintainable developer tools that empower external developers to build on the Docker platform.
• • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, operational rigor, and continuous improvement within the team, setting a high bar for code quality, system stability, and performance.
• • Partner closely with Product Management to deeply understand user needs, translate them into actionable technical requirements, and align the team's roadmap with overarching business objectives and the evolving Docker ecosystem.
• • Champion best practices in API design, versioning, backward compatibility, and overall developer experience, ensuring that the interfaces are intuitive, reliable, and easy for developers to adopt and integrate.
• • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle for the team's deliverables, from ideation and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring predictable and high-quality releases.
• • Actively recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent, focusing on the growth and development of senior individual contributors and building a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.
