• As a Senior Manager, Engineering, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of music creation technology. You will oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.
• Your leadership will extend to fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture. You will mentor and guide your team, promoting best practices in software development, encouraging continuous learning, and championing innovation. This includes conducting regular performance reviews, facilitating career development, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, QA, and other engineering departments, to translate business requirements and user needs into technical specifications and actionable development plans. • A significant part of your role will involve strategic planning and execution. You will contribute to the technical roadmap, identify opportunities for technological advancement, and make informed decisions regarding architecture, tooling, and development methodologies. • You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. This includes proactive risk assessment and mitigation to ensure smooth project execution.
• Driving technical excellence is paramount. You will champion code quality, robust testing strategies (including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing), and efficient deployment processes. You will also play a key role in maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipelines.
• You will be a key contributor to architectural discussions, ensuring that our systems are designed for scalability, reliability, and maintainability. This involves evaluating new technologies and approaches to solve complex engineering challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and managing software engineering teams, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices, including Agile development, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire engineers.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
