- • Own the end-to-end global payroll operating model across employees, contractors, EORs, PEOs, and local providers.
- • Manage and develop a team of 2–3 direct reports while maintaining execution discipline and high operational standards.
- • Lead the operational administration of employee equity in Shareworks, including grant processing, data updates, and multi-department reconciliation.
- • Identify and implement automation workflows to minimize manual data transfers, recurring exceptions, and data friction in payroll and equity processes.
- • Partner with HR Technology, IT, and Finance teams to drive payroll platform consolidations and maximize system reliability across global jurisdictions.
- • Strengthen compliance protocols, payroll controls, and documentation to protect the business from financial exposure and ensure audit readiness.
- • Establish clear processing calendars, accountability metrics, and data scorecards to measure function accuracy and capacity gains.
- • Step into complex tax, equity, and market-specific payroll challenges to drive swift cross-functional resolution.
- • Transition the payroll and equity function from manual, multi-vendor handoffs to an automated, scalable operating model without proportional headcount growth.
- • Serve as a player-coach on the leadership team, balancing strategic system design with hands-on technical execution to mitigate operational and financial risk.
- • Ensure alignment between global payroll operations and equity administration under HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions), supporting Hopper’s B2B and consumer travel fintech businesses.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Argentine labor and tax compliance frameworks as the role is structured as an Independent Contractor (Locación de Servicios) under Argentine law.
- • Operate within a high-growth technology and fintech environment where payroll accuracy directly impacts financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate payroll and equity systems with HRIS platforms and financial reporting tools to eliminate data silos.
- • Drive continuous improvement in payroll processing efficiency by leveraging data-driven insights to reduce errors, delays, and manual interventions.
- • Ensure all equity administration activities comply with local and international tax regulations and are accurately reflected in financial records.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global payroll trends, EOR/PEO provider capabilities, and equity platform functionalities to inform system modernization.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and equity operations within HTS, ensuring seamless coordination with global partners and internal stakeholders.
